How to Place a Bid
Bidding on BuySellBid is simple and exciting! Here is how to get started:
Step 1 — Find an Auction
Browse to Auctions in the top navigation or look for listings marked with the red LIVE badge on the homepage.
Step 2 — Check the Current Bid
On the auction listing page you will see the current highest bid, the number of bids placed, and a countdown timer showing how much time is left.
Step 3 — Enter Your Bid
Enter an amount in the bid field. Your bid must be higher than the current bid. The minimum increment is shown on the page.
Step 4 — Confirm Your Bid
Click Place Bid. You will see a confirmation message if your bid was accepted.
Outbid Notifications
If someone outbids you, you will receive an email notification so you can decide whether to bid again.
Winning an Auction
When the auction ends, the highest bidder wins. You will receive an email with instructions to complete your purchase. Payment must be made promptly to secure your item.
