BuySellBid is an open marketplace, but some items cannot be listed for legal, safety or ethical reasons. Listings that violate this policy will be removed and the seller account may be suspended.
Absolutely Prohibited
- Illegal items of any kind
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition and related parts (without proper licensing)
- Controlled substances, drugs and drug paraphernalia
- Stolen goods or items obtained illegally
- Counterfeit or replica items presented as genuine
- Items that infringe on copyright or trademark
- Hazardous materials and dangerous chemicals
- Human remains, organs or body parts
- Live animals (without applicable permits)
- Adult content or sexually explicit material
- Personal information or identity documents
Restricted Items
Some items require special handling or disclosures:
- Alcohol — must comply with local regulations
- Tobacco products — age verification required
- Medical devices — must be approved and labelled correctly
- Food items — must comply with food safety regulations
- Used clothing and bedding — must be clean and sanitized
Reporting a Prohibited Listing
If you see a listing that appears to violate this policy, click Report this Listing on the listing page, or contact us at buysellbid.com/contact. We review all reports promptly.
Consequences
Sellers who list prohibited items will have those listings removed immediately. Repeated violations result in account suspension. Illegal activity will be reported to appropriate authorities.
