Messaging on BuySellBid
BuySellBid has a built-in messaging system so buyers and sellers can communicate safely without sharing personal contact information.
Sending a Message as a Buyer
On any listing page, click Ask a Question or Message Seller to open a conversation with the seller. You can ask about condition, shipping times, bundle deals or anything else before purchasing.
Sending a Message as a Seller
When a buyer messages you, you will receive an email notification. Reply through Dashboard → Messages. Responding quickly increases buyer confidence and sales.
After a Purchase
Buyers and sellers can continue messaging through the order detail page after a purchase — useful for coordinating delivery, providing tracking information or resolving any issues.
Message Etiquette
- Keep all communication on the BuySellBid platform
- Be polite and professional at all times
- Never share personal email addresses or phone numbers
- Do not attempt to complete transactions outside the platform
Reporting Inappropriate Messages
If you receive a message that is abusive, inappropriate or attempting to scam you, contact our support team immediately at buysellbid.com/contact. Include the username and a description of the issue.
